Welcome to the Sixgun Dan Gunfighters Website E-mail

Hello and welcome! My name is Sixgun Dan and you have found your way to my own little corner of the World Wide Web. On this website the 1880's collide with the 21st Century.

Read on to find out who I am and what you will find on my site.

Who the hell is Sixgun Dan and why should I care?

Who am I? Well I suppose that is really a question for the ages but I'll answer it as best I can in terms of what you need to know about me and this here website.

I guess you could say I'm an adventurer, a geek by profession, a cowboy at heart and a traveler of sorts; a time traveler if you will. Yes, I think I like that. Call me a time traveler.

You see... I spend part of my time here in the 21st century, as a computer geek, and I spend part of my time back in the 1880's as a gunfighter. I'm particularly fond of the date October 26th 1881 and I spend a awful lot of my time traveling back to that day. It was on that day, in Tombstone Arizona, that the most famous gunfight of all time was fought between the Earp's and Doc Holiday against the Clanton's and McLaurey's in a alley behind the OK Corral. I even got to fight in that fight on a few of my trips back in time and you can read all about how that came to be over in the Blog section of this site.

What can I see here?

Here you will find a continually growing collection of photographs that I have taken during my adventures in the 1880's. Some of these are photographs of gunfights I have been in and some are of other gunfighters I know fighting their own fights while still others are of places in the Old West that I have traveled back to.

Along with the pictures you will find my Blog where I will be writing all about my adventures as a gunfighter in the Wild Wild West. Much of this will center around Tombstone Arizona where I spend the majority of my time as a professional gunfighter. That's right, you'll be able to read all about my adventures in the 1880's with folks you may already have heard of such as my good friends Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp, Buckskin Frank Leslie and Luke Short to name a few. You'll also hear about some other folks you may not be familiar with such as the likes of TJ Walters and some bad hombres known as the Comancheros.

You will also find blog postings from a more current time frame as well in which I will tell you all about the best places to go see the history of the west for yourself right here in the good old 21st century.

Here, aside from the pictures and the blogs, you will find other information, as I collect it, on other times and places that I visit and that are related to the history of the old west.

Book Mark Me and Come Back Often

That's right it time now for a shameless plug promoting my own website but hey, that's what all this whole Internet/Blog site thing is all about anyways ain't it - shameless self promotion? So, do like it says: bookmark the site and visit often. There's a lot still goin' on back in the 1880's so I'll have plenty to Blog about!
